The site is located to the west of Nuremberg's old town, between the Frankenschnellweg and Fürther Straße. The central location and the direct connection to public transport via the Eberhardshof underground station allow for a variety of attractive uses for the site. A lease agreement has been concluded with the City of Nuremberg for a public authority centre of 42,000 m², and construction work on this component was started in spring 2021.
The concept envisages the development of a mixed-use property in a listed building with a focus on residential, office, gastronomy and retail uses, supplemented by social facilities such as a daycare centre or similar. The subsidised housing will be realised on a compensation area.
The Q will be a completely new type of mix-use property, combining all the needs of urban life under one roof in a building steeped in history.
